Comments: I am the daughter of Cecil Brown Totty (dob 1918) who was orignally from Centerville, Hickman County, Tennessee. My paternal grandfather was J.C. Totty (I'm not sure what the J.C. stands for) who was also from Hickman County. My grandfather migrated to the area around Shaw, Mississippi, where he died and is buried. My paternal grandmother was Mary Orton Totty who was also from the Hickman County area. My father had brothers Lloyd and Douglas and sisters Lillie, Frances, Marybelle and Margaret.
