Kathy is not a BACKYARD BREEDER, and if you ever had gotten a poodle from her you would know that. They are beautiful, healthy and socialized. I have gotten two from Kathy, last one I got at 8 weeks old and is 7 months now and just wonderful and healthy. Very intelligent and well bred. When I am ready for another poodle, no matter where Kathy is I will get another one from her with no regrets or worries. She is always there to answer questions and help and advise on everything. People who have puppy mills with perhaps 50 dogs living in cages, filithy conditions, not enought food, etc: that's what should be removed from the public. I still have Miss Prissy, my first poodle, she had brain damage but she my sweetheart, most people would get rid of her since we had her fixed and her friend Bunny Hop. We also have our male Sambo who is also fixed. Not many "backyard breeders" keep pets like that, but they are more than pets, they are are out "family". There are a few times I've even given a poodle away and I've refused to sell when I sometimes meet the new owners to be. Dog food alone is about $100.00 a month, then there are 4 different shots they must have which is very expensive (in the hundred's, I've gotten ready for this winter to put a sweater on them when we go for our daily walk. I've gotten about 8 clippers and supplies are expensive. There is not much profit, at least not the way I raise my babies, oops poodles. I love to put on their little diapers and take them with me to bed to take an afternoon nap. I find that most people who write nasty remarks are usually AKC people which believe they are the only breed to be on this earth. I have 3 other dogs which one is a small mini poodles who is a joy. Reason for the time frame is we will be traveling to Cheyenne in July and think 3 companions for that trip will be enough. They are tiny toys and are the most precious things to me. They travel where ever I go and I thank god I found you and your poodles. To the "animal specialist" from AZ, not everyone is looking to have a show dog. We just want a baby to love and cherish. Kathy and her husband were a pleasure to do business with.
