I've been steered here many times on many web searches, but have yet to see the pictures. the first pic comes up but none of the others. It appears that they are not available. How good do you think this site is: No comments Comments: I am interested in tracing descendants of Mayall Beaumont who came to paterson from England in about 1850 with his wife Betty and family.One of his sons, James Beaumont served his time at Rogers Locomotive Works before heading west and eventually migrated to Peru via Bolivia and Chile. He became very famous as the inventor of a gun and built a canal and boats to cross Lake Titicaca. He was a Colonel in the War of the Pacific 1879-84 fighting for the Chilean side and was awarded a commission of Colonel for his great efforts. Would like to trace any descendants as I have all the family history and original documents back to 1656. Only genuine descendants should make contact. Particularly interested in any photos of him. His father, Mayall, became an Alderman in Paterson and was an enthusiastic bassoon player.
