We have 4 children (2 mine and 2 his) although we have raised them as our own. When we got married we thought we didn't want any children together so my husband went through a vasectomy, but after being married, getting saved and receiving the Holy Spirit in our lives we decided to put that decision back in the hands of the Lord. In Oct 2007 my husband went through his first vasectomy reversal with a second one following in May 2008. It was by God's grace and blessing that we found the Christian doctor to perform these procedures and felt this was right for our family. However, some things happened after that and things just weren't right in our hearts. This past January 2010 my Father, who was my rock and prayer warrior, passed away and it took a lot of soul searching to really find why the blessings in our marriage and household weren't being answered. I found that my heart was full of anger, resentment a nd unforgiveness. These past few weeks I have forgiven those that I was angry with and made peace in my heart. My husband and I are asking for agreement in prayer that the Lord will bring the blessing of a child into our life and family. We have found great peace in our lives, with our loved ones and our hearts desire is to be blessed with a healthy child from the Lord into our marriage. "Lo, children are the heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward." God's promise is he will do whatever you ask in his name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. His word says "you may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it." "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened."
