As a sonarman I also helped out with radar and navigation as the sonar panel was located in CIC. Did 2 Med cruises.Loved Charleston!! I remember the CO was Capt Bard. The Fearless was my last duty.I got out and became first a cop and then an airline pilot. I have many fond memories of the time on board.
