Meyer Rate/Rank: SOG-2 Email: esteem438@hotmail.com Where are your from?: Woodville, Ohio Comments: She was a hardy vessel having survived a typhoon in 1959 (I think-it was so long ago!) with repairs at India basin in Sasebo. Her outer hull was stripped away below the waterline from bow to near midships. Her sonar dome was bent out to starboard from the pressure build-up between the keel and the dome as she pounded from wave crest to trough over and over.
