First ship a T2 from OTUK in late 50's and last ship with Trident Tankers, the final straw. I wish all ex and serving members a happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year, it's funnyhow the Merchant Navy became the secret service.

Message Text: Good day all.
I was not MN at all. In fact, I was Army for over 30 years but I know you are a forgiving lot. The real reason I am cluttering up your inbox is, I am researching my dad, Hugh Affleck who was MN from 39-43 with the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co on board the tankers Cliona and Daphnella. In doing so, I found your site. Very professional, very tidy and I enjoyed it a great deal. Well done those responsible. Cheers.
