Very well worth a trip. The Merchant Navy Convoy Wood is particilarly evocative. One oak tree for every ship sunk in WW2. It's a BIG area as you can well imagine! There is a book held in the Chapel containing the name of every M.N. sailor lost. They are listed under the name of the ship they were serving on. Choose a dry day.
