I found it via the Depression Alliance site link. Can I recommend Fellowship of Depressives Anonymous, also? This is an excellent organisation, run entirely by volunteers with personal experience, past or present, of depression. Contact fdainfo@aol.com for further information. Basingstoke residents - if you suffer from depression and are in contact with the Bridge Centre CMHT then you may be interested in joining Bridge of Hope depression support group. Ask your key worker for more information. The group is currently small, and very informal and supportive. We know what a struggle living with depressive illness can be. If your key worker needs more information, Sally Ball (CPN) is a good point of contact. The group is service run by and for service users, however, with minimal involvement by the CMHT. Please do not hesitate to contact us, or to recommend us to friends/family, in the area, who may find that we can help them. Being around supportive people who truly understand, from experience, is a brilliant first step, on the road to recovery/partial recovery/stability. Take care, all.
