To date creationism has failed on this level. Public schools are only obligated to teach facts and ideas that have stood up to scrutiny, and fact is not based on public opinion. Also, having taken advantage of the rights he has an American citizen (gun and property ownership, enforcement of copyrights, freedom of speech, etc) he was still under moral, ethical, and legal obligation to pay his taxes.
