When he was 6-7 years old he was walking down the railroad tracks in Delware Bend, Ohio. Very small country town still w/o any stores only a church St Stephens. He came upon Dillinger. Dad knew who he was. Dillinger told him if he told anyone he was there he would come back and kill him and his family! my dad never told anyone. He is now 84 years old.
