Comments: I spent the weekend with my cousin and his wife in Elgin. They took me along to the games, and all I can say is..I had the most fantastic, exciting and memorable day in my life. Although born and raised just outside Glasgow, I've never been to a proper Highland Games, and now I'm hooked ! Everything...from the Stalls, to the events themselves were planned and set to perfection. As for the Bands !! Brilliant. The hairs stood up on the back of neck, and it made me so proud to be Scottish. My applause goes to the young piper who piped, repeatedly, without flaw, for the Highland Dance competition. I have reserved my room at my cousins house for next year !!
