Comments: Debbie-we get the RC weekly as we live in North Carolina. I was wondering if you have a digital photo of the "Snow in the Elkhorns". (front page RC 12.25.08 Vol 107 #52) Back in 1959, before the Anthony Lakes road was paved, you had to wait in line to get a run at the mud hole (about where the tree line starts) to get through without getting stuck. There was a couple Australian Shepherds waiting to chase each car through. Since there was snow on the ground, the cattle didn't need hearding, so they figured this would be a good way to stay in shape. I have laughed many times when you have written in the RC. Byron Britton was in class of 65 if my memory serves me right and we used to ski at "Little Alps" before Anthony opened up.
