You guys have produced some very nice Chows. How do you deal with loosing so many Chows? Some lasted a long time and others lives were cut short. I have just got started in the Showing side last year. I get to attached to my dogs and it ripps my heart out to loose one. I have had Chows since 1987. From 1987 to 2009 we lost 3. I now have an 11 month old male named Solomon from Geebee's Chows owned by Gwen Benz. My female is a year old and is from Nan-Tan and Rio Chows. Nancy Fulkerson has Nan-Tan and Rafael Rasorio and Amy Young have Rio Chows. Once they are finished we plan to have puppies. There is a lot more work in showing that anyone realizes until you get started doing it. I have handlers for my Chows. Gwen Benz shows Solomon. Gena Lusk was showing Sheeba. She has had some temperment issues that I hope are over and Amy Young is going to show her in Louisville, Kentucky next weekend. We won't be making the Nationals this year because of funds and next year it's on the west coast so we won't make that one either. Maybe one day we will me at a show.
