Comments: Thank you, thank you for such a wonderful novel and the great moments about this Buffy and the positive and respectful way you have discribe our favourite couple. You have shown that the Buffy and Angel we all fell in love with is still around, even though we do not see them anymore in the tv series.

Comments: Hi, *waves*

I just wanted to say how much I loved "Tempted Champions". :) And like Nate said, finally "champions" is used in the proper text and not to describe Cordelia.

You had some truly beautiful Buffy/Angel lines in your book that showed respect to the couple that will hopefully be one day reunited again. And how Buffy called him her chamption? Loved it.

Your characterization was great and I really enjoyed reading about Vampire Slayer Vampire. :) You made her character very attention driven, and she was a lot of fun to read.

You did a great job with this book and I can't wait to read more of your work in the future.

Take Care,
~Lokoa

Comments: Hi again! Yes, I know it's only a few days after my last post, but I did want to tell folks that Tempted Champions is now out and available! While I rail against buying used books on Amazon (because they sell them in direct competition with the same brand new ones), I have nothing at all against grabbing new ones there -- I freely admit I've bought plenty of new books and CDs from them. If you want to check it out on Amazon, here's the LINK straight to it. As of Sunday night, March 3, it was up to sales level #542, which I thought was pretty nifty. Thanks!

Hi everyone, and happy March!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile -- I've been having a little trouble getting to the message board, most often I get something called a "Communications Exception" message from my computer and it won't come up. Since my attempt this morning was successful, I thought I'd better take advantage of it!

I wish I had more interesting stuff to tell. Not working on any books right, but I am working on two stories for an Angel anthology. Both are due on April 1st, and one is finished in first draft. Next up is a story for an anthology that asked me to submit. Also working on cleaning up the house to put it on the market -- I have high hopes it will sell quickly, my Dad is being the ultimate cynicist and doesn't think anyone in the world wants it. ::grin:: Also beating myself to death in the hopes of progressing a little further in my belt level at my martial arts academy before we move. The weather here in the frozen north is getting colder instead of warmer, so typical. The temperature right now is about 20, while in my future home of Sierra Vista, Arizona, it's 68. ::sigh::

The World Horror Convention is only about 6 weeks or so away, and is taking place right here in the Chicago area. I'll be a special guest there, and I'll also have a dealer's table for Dusty Stacks, my little bookstore. Stop by and say high, but please don't freak if I can't remember your name. Between regular life and the internet, I'm lucky I can remember my address, much less a lot of people I only know through the virtual ether. Also check the Announcements Page for an upcoming appearance at the Schaumburg Library on March 14th.

Wes came up for Valentine's Day [insert disgusting cute heart image here -- ha ha] and we had a grand time. Worked out, repacked a messy storage locker full of boxes and furniture, ate way too much, and managed to watch 6 episodes of Six Feet Under and see two movies -- Blackhawk Down and Brotherhood of the Wolf -- in only three days. No rest for us wicked!

Look like The Willow Files, Vol. 2 has made it to the preliminary Bram Stoker ballot in the Works for Young Readers category. Thank you to the folks who recommended it. Here's hoping it makes it to the final ballot -- that would be cool. Toot toot!

Take care everyone, and hang in there -- spring is just around the corner!

Comments: Hi everyone and Happy New Year! The trip to California was fun and interesting and sometimes frustrating, but I'd still rate it top notch. I hope everyone's having a great year so far. MIRROR ME, in case you haven't heard, is finished and with my agent. There's a VERY large chunk of it on the website -- just go here to down load. It's in a completely safe PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format. I hope everyone likes it.

Time to go knock myself out at martial arts training. Cheerio!

HO HO HO!

Festive enough for ya? Annoying? ::grin:: Whichever, be sure to stop by the Darke Palace web site and check out the way I've decked out the place for the Holi-Daze, not to mention the outfit I've decked on myself to keep up with the season.

I'll be off in La La Land with Wes from 12/27 through 1/9, soaking (::please please please::) up the California sunshine. I'll have email access, but I may not be all that speedy in answering, so please be patient. I won't be able to fill Dusty Stacks Bookstore orders during that time, but I can put books on hold for folks if they place an order, so feel free. I'll ship everything out as soon as I return.

Here's wishing everyone the safest, bestest, happiest and healthiest Holi-Daze ever!

Comments: Hi everyone.

I thought I'd be writing to remind everyone of the Con-Cat weekend over Thanksgiving, that nifty little convention down in the Knoxville, Tennessee
area at which I was to be the Author Guest of Honor. Unfortunately, the 13th
Con-Cat has apparently brought its own dose of bad luck and at the last minute the
convention encountered major hotel problems that it could not resolve. The bottom line
is that today, only four days before its scheduled event dates, Con-Cat literally found
itself with NO hotel and has had to cancel the entire convention. If you pre-registered
or made arrangements to host a dealer's table, please contact the convention at
solveig@earthlink.net for a refund. They plan to reorganize and regroup and hold a real
whiz-bang of a convention next year!

Since I have everyone's "ear," the Buffy fans out there will be interested to know that
TALES OF THE SLAYER is now out, and TEMPTED CHAMPIONS is scheduled to be published in
March 2002. This makes for a very busy next few months for me. I'm also still
determined to finish the first draft of MIRROR ME by the end of this year (I just don't
give up that easily!).

Remember to check out my little online bookstore
Dusty Stacks. There are lots of neat items there, including some fine autographed copies for the fan in your life (and who says you can't buy YOURSELF a holiday gift, too?). There was some initial confusion over the search function, so if you tried to find a book and couldn't, please stop by and try again. The search box has been removed because it did not search the book inventory, only the site itself (which is really rather small). To search for a book on the Dustystacks.com site, just go to the Catalog Sections
here (http://dogbert.abebooks.com/abe/BooksBrowse?vendorclientid=969675). If you prefer, you
can browse the entire inventory
here (http://dogbert.abebooks.com/abe/BookSearch?vci=969675). We have lots of neat stuff,
including t-shirts with weird art excerpts on them for great prices (or we can custom
make shirts for you using your design). Check it out. And while I might mention the
bookstore now and then in my Tidbit mailings, I won't be using that list for exclusive
bookstore mailings, so if you want to get those you'll need to specifically ask to be on
that list. It's a whole privacy thing.

Again, I'm sorry about the Con-Cat cancellation. They did their best to resolve the
problem, but in the end that lucky 13 thing got the best of them.

Here's wishing everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!
