I'm the guy who painted it on Tail No. 560 in 1970 with C Troop 1/9 Cav at Phouc Vinh ( Camp Gorvad) At the time I was an 11B/11D that came from the 75th Rangers and flew in "Scouts" OH6A's first then became the platoon sergeant for the "Lift" Platoon. It was on this slick that Max Parks (CE) and myself (DG) earned our DFC's and AM's with "V" device.(Another story sometime) Thank you for honoring 560 and all of the men who crewed her. How good do you think this site is: Well Done!!! Comments: Yes Sir, I'm marty mayes, and I want to get into radio control helicopters. I want to get a simple helicopter to start with, maybe the Trex. But these are expensive hobbies I know. So I wanting to know if you, or anyone can assist me in some used parts to get started. I'm not picky, I want to lay-o-way a trex, and I need help with a radio system, gyro, ect, and maybe a flight simulator. I'm a hard worker, and I make very little. So I'm asking for some help from people that might have something to offer. I don't like to sound like a poor begging person. But it would be very nice to get into this hobby, the closest rc store, and people in this sport, to ask for used parts, or help, is 40 miles away. So I'll not be able to go find things very easily.
