At the time I worked at the stadium and watched sabbaths whole set from a light tower looking down at the band from about 15 feet up. The thing that impressed me most was the power of Bill Ward, he beat on the drums so hard I thought they were gonna start falling apart. That show was alot of fun, I was backstage when Sammy Hagar came on with his red leathers and also saw Van Halen standing backstage when they were supposedly parachuting into the parking lot. The thing I remember most was all the people the Anahiem P.D. busted at that show and held down in the basement by where I had to go check in every once in a while. I`ll bet they arrested two hundred people that show. It was my second concert. the first being Grand Funk at the Forum. I also was lucky enough to see Wall of Voodoo at a bar called Ichabods in Fullerton in 79. Went to high school with Mike Palm from Agent Orange and was pretty into the whole seen. Ichabods had new wave night every sunday and got to catch most of the 70`s punk bands. The cuckoo`s nest in Costa Mesa was another great place to catch punk shows.
