136 July 04 2003 at 05:55:03 Fullname: Kevin Email: Comments: Brittany? Nothing that I can remember, but I'm just starting chapter 11 in Merilynn now so maybe I haven't gotten to that part. Unless you're talking about her being a carpet muncher. 137 July 04 2003 at 05:24:11 Fullname: Tamara Email: Comments: Anthony, Yep, I'm Chris Curry. Well, I would've been if I'd been a boy. I felt it wise to hide gender back then since I wasn't crazy about horror written by women. (Throw stones, it's true. Generally, I still much prefer male viewpoint. Men, I understand. The average female (non-writing or otherwise artistic, and that does NOT include women who paint geese with ribbons around their necks on nursery walls) is difficult for me to wrap myself around (don't swing that way, anyway.) The SORORITY was strange to write, being in all those girls' heads. Eve was the only really hard one though -- Merilynn is nuts and Sam is a pistol. Those two, I could get into easier. Merilynn is my favorite. So, anybody notice anything interesting about Brittany yet??? 138 July 04 2003 at 05:19:08 Fullname: Tamara Email: Comments: Kevin, In high school my nickname was Spice. Of course, the journalism geeks gave me the name. Personally, I'm not crazy about Curry. I'm fonder of herbs that belong to the Thorne family. Wanna see my artichokes? 139 July 04 2003 at 05:17:17 Fullname: Tamara Email: Comments: Well, Dark, I hope Tim Curry isn't a close relation because I had lots of fantasies. Mmmm, that's good Curry. He's probably some incredibly distant 12th cousin -- I vaguely recall realizing he was from the same area that some of the Currys imported themselves from. But my branch has been here since, I don't know, to hear Currys tell it, maybe they escorted the Mayflower in? A long time ago. They were always flitting between Scotland and Ireland -- if I'm remembering genetic lore properly -- with the political tides. Probably one of them finally got in way too much trouble and had to come all the way over to this side of the pond. I think Kid Curry is related. There's some blue blood for ya! The Currys descended from some Highland clan that was the traditional storykeepers for one of the Scots rulers -- don't remember if it was Mel Gibson's blue guys or the other ones. I like that storykeeper bit, but I'm more interested in reincarnational lives, especially the one I spent as an astronomer for Caligula. . . 140 July 04 2003 at 05:08:37 Fullname: Tamara Email: Comments: Hidey ho, neighborinos, I'm so loopy that I don't know when any of the shows are playing. Hopefully my webmaster is slightly more organized. Between her and Eric, maybe we can figure it all out. I do know that the www.ghostlytalk.com show is downloadable any time (it'll be in the archives next week, but I think you can get it from the main page at the moment. I haven't listened to any of it -- but I had a grand old time, especially with the ghostlytalk guys. Everyone had sex on the brain. (I was kind of in one of my Beavis & Butthead moods to begin with. . . everything sounded dirty to me (aka "huh huh-huh, he said hard") and those two were easy to set off. Or maybe they were setting me off. I was only a tad possessed by Bea Arthur's voice. Anyway, I'll try and get a Newsflash out (help, Eric, help!) to subscribers to tell you all the whats and whens and ifs and buts. Huh huh-huh. I said buts... 141 July 04 2003 at 04:58:22 Fullname: Kevin Email: Comments: I listened to the 1 pm interview and tried to record it so I could listen again later. When I tired to replay it, The only thing I got was a loud squeal that drowned out the talking. I'm glad I listened to it while it was playing rather than waiting for the recording. Oh, and I have to say, that I enjoyed every second of it! 142 July 04 2003 at 03:20:02 Fullname: Darkomik77 Email: Comments: Wayne, maybe somebody out there didn't want you to get easy access. Possible conspiracy in the air. :) 143 July 04 2003 at 00:22:16 Fullname: Wayne Email: Comments: Eric, I just went over to Book Crazy Radio, but couldn't figure out their new format to click onto their show. They've changed everything around. You used to be able to click on the rotating globe of the earth and the radio program would come on, but now there's nothing to click on, at least as far as I could see. Why do people have to make things harder? 144 July 03 2003 at 04:03:51 Fullname: Eric Email: Comments: Tamara Thorne interview on Thursday at www.dragonpage.com.
