Comments: Hi Everybody, I saw this discription of THE SORORITY which I am anxious for on the Mystery Guild Website.

At cheerleading camp on Applehead Lake, young Eve Camlan hears the strange tale of Holly Gayle—a Greenbriar University student who mysteriously vanished—from older girls Sam and Merilynn. Eight years later, Eve herself is a freshman at Greenbriar, and thrilled to be invited to join Gamma Eta Pi, where Sam and Merilynn are sorority sisters.

What the innocent young pledge doesn't realize, however, is that Gamma Eta Pi is home to an even more select—and dangerous—group of sisters: the coven of Fata Morgana, a secret world of dark magic, sexual depravity and unimaginable sin. Now sultry sorority president Malory Thomas—who hasn't aged in a very long time—needs virgin blood for a sacrifice, and Eve will be lucky to escape with her life…and her soul.

Comments: Bryan - You just cracked me up! I'm dying to read your book UNDER THE SKIN. Better move CANDLE BAY to the top. It is hilarious.

Too bad I'm not more sober. For a moment there, I thought Dee Dee Ramone was posting from beyond the grave.

Oh, by the way, first time poster here. I think. Loved The Forgotten, my first Thorne read. Have Candle Bay among my to-be-read pile, will get to it eventually.

Comments: Hello Tamara,
I have always, since age 10 been a book worm, and my favorites were the horror stories. I grew up on them, as my mother was the same way, hplovecraft and all sorts. I have to date read 3 of your books and I have enjoyed every single one of them! You are a wonderful writer, and your stories keep you gripped to the end. I intend on getting your other books, and I think your fantastic!
Sincerely,
Helen Dee Malone

Comments: It is a great banner. Hey, Tamara, I don't suppose your designer can make a TT banner for my links page? Like spooky lil' cats running across carrying chainsaws?

Comments: Scott - Stop that! I went into the website for over an hour. The interviews are great. I was really fascinated with the Gerina Dunwich on Witchcraft. Very cool site!

Comments: Hey guys, I'm baa-ack from the haunted southwest, full of truths to fictionalize concerning the craziest little semi-ghost town I've ever seen and its big old haunted hotel. It's so full of true stories of murder and mayhem -- and ghosts -- that fictionalizing it means I'll have to be careful not to tame it down. The place used to be a hospital and it's ecto-rific!

I haven't read all the posts yet, but thank you all for keeping the board going like lightning! I'll get back to posting over the next week or so as deadline-put-off business is taken care of, and I get all my material transferred to this great big beautiful laptop I just bought. Meanwhile, check the website. My designer and head webmistress is putting up messages about completion dates for the new look. It will be up any minute now. You can also be notified via the newsletter.

Speaking of newsletters, a new one will appear next week announcing the date (mid-May) of my next Dark Delicacies signing. This will be for the store's charity book of art and prose, but they'll also have everything of mine. You can email them at darkdel@darkdel.com to ask for specific signed items. (I probably won't sign for the SORORITY until August when the last of the three books appears.)

Comments: Hey Tina, isn't Tamara the greatest!? She always has me crying too, not that I'm sentimental or anything... I just hate that the book has ended! ;)
