I'm trying to include something really extra ... Years ago, Steve Bisette and Michael Zuli did a proposal for a comic book series of Little Brothers stories. I'm trying to get the right to include some of the preliminary artwork and sketches. 93 January 24 2005 at 14:06:44 Fullname: Greg Email: glmiller2000@hotmail.com Comments: I've got the "Little Brothers" limited on order already. I was really excited to see that was being published. That's my favorite of your books that I've read so far. And of course, I love the short stories, too. 94 January 23 2005 at 21:58:19 Fullname: Rick Hautala Email: Comments: Greg ... Thanks! Glad you're reading my stuff. I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but Delirium Press will be putting out a limited edition of Little Brothers which will include all the short stories and "myths." I'll announce the pub date when I know it, but it should be sometime late this year. "linkinpark"--Glad you're enjoying Moondeath. I've had a lot of other books published. Most of them are out of print now (because the publisher and I disagreed on a contract) but you can get them on used paperback sites. Or try BEDBUGS. Paul--THANK YOU for the Ali G. link. You're right. I think he's hilarious. I'd heard he had some real trouble, and now I know the details. Thanks. He's lucky he made it out alive! Take care ... Keep reading! ---Rick 95 January 21 2005 at 12:55:35 Fullname: Greg Email: glmiller2000@hotmail.com Comments: Thanks for the update! I've read several of your books and thoroughly enjoyed them. It is autors like you that kept me reading and enjoy the pleasure of reading novels.!! I thank you for that. I wish you a good and happy 2005! At least one person in Holland will buy Follow:-) 101 December 25 2004 at 16:24:27 Fullname: Rick Hautala Email: Comments: Lionel ... I'd be willing to let you translate and publish one of my stories. Do you have a copy of BEDBUGS? Maybe something from there. I understand that you can't pay me. No worries. Let's just make sure the copyright is listed in my name. But what story would you like? Martin, Sorry I'e been out of touch. Been working REALLY hard on the new novel (which is done and delivered, and now I'm waiting for the editorial changes). No new Leisure book from me. They want a novel, and I can't write a novel for what they're paying. I'm trying to work out a reprint deal with them that would include a few older books, my new short story and novella collections and a new novel, but not making much progress. Right now, I'm working up a YA series titled MOCKINGBIRD BAY ... of course there are ghosts! 102 December 20 2004 at 10:05:10 Fullname: lionel benard Email: lionelleoben2@wanadoo.fr Comments: Hello I am French so I am sorry about my English: it is not very good! I intend to make an amateur fanzine about forty pages for the size A5 with coverage colour and black and white inside. It will have for kind: fantastic and horror. It will contain authors' texts participating in workshops of writings within an asso of which I am a part: the asso " The club presence of mind " (asso Sf, fantastic, whim and imaginary generally - < http://www.anneau-monde.com/ >) and illustrations. It is a project in the small publication (50 copies in the beginning). I shall like using a text of an English-speaking author for the number 00. I wished so to know if you would agree to supply me a small text which I would translate. On the other hand, it is an amateur zine... If you live on your work or if this project does not correspond to your waits, I shall understand although you refuse. Goodbye Lionel 103 December 13 2004 at 19:52:19 Fullname: Martin Boucher Email: Comments: How're you doing , Rick !? Long time no speak. I'm wondering if you got a new deal going on with Leisure. I think it's about time they print another Hautala book. I'm just about to finish the ever-so enjoyable and scary DARK SILENCE. I would love to read your comments on writing this novel. Best, Martin 104 December 13 2004 at 03:01:21 Fullname: Rick Hautala Email: Comments: Sorry I've been away for so long. I know it's time to update my website, too ... but--yes, Dan, I've been working away on two things ... The new AJ Matthews novel FOLLOW is now done (the first draft, anyway) and the revisions on a script titled CHILLS are done. Jeremy ... XYWrite is an old, old word processing programs that I used to love. Long since out of business, and I now use Word for novels and either Movie Maker Screenwrite 2000 or Final Draft for scripts. Jerad, I have no idea who may have reped Ms. Samson. The book was originally from Avon, wasn't it? Maybe try contacting them. They may have some old records ... Sorry I coulldn't help more ... 105 December 07 2004 at 04:52:16 Fullname: Dan W Email: Ylnats8@aol.com Comments: Hope you're STILL out there, whacking away at the writing game as well as always.
