Comments: Like the title. :) But I thought a different title would truly reflect what I got here: DOCTOR DARK'S LITTLE MAGICK SHOP OF LITERARY DREADS, EERIE CURIOS, & OTHER ELDER ESOTERIC CLASSICS. Or is that a little too long? :/ You're right about that though, I could write a book on what I have. I was doing it as a hobby, trying to collect certain old books of stories, and other novels. Right now, I'm still hunting down books of Hanns Heinz Ewers, four of them to be sure.

Comments: Just finished reading an old book, "Strange Papers Of Dr. Blayre" by Edward Heron-Allen aka Christopher Blayre. It's a mixed bag, it's science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Some of the stories harken to Twilight Zone and some are comparable to Stephen Vincent Benet, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Hodgson. It's a good book. I know Heron-Allen had written several more. I've yet to find and nab several more of his weird tales.

Comments: Halfway through?! Dude!! ;) I read THE MAN IN THE MOSS recently and it was tops. I also read CURFEW a long, long time ago. That guy writes 'em thick, but good. Not recommended if you don't like quiet horror.

Comments: Now, I'm done with H. Russell Wakefield's The Clock Strikes Twelve. Already read the Ballentine version, now that I've bought an Arkham House version. Those not familiar, you should. Wakefield's a classic ghost story writer in the tradition of M.R. James, J.Sheridan LeFanu, and Algernon Blackwood. Now I'm onto reading the paranoid stories of Philip K. Dick.

Comments: (Dons his gas mask as he enters.) I'm having some fun over at the comic book convention. Just got some info that you guys would be interested, Dark Horse comics are reprinting all of Uncle Creepy and Cousin Eerie comics in several volumes starting with the first one. Also, there's a nifty tome of Frankenstein with great illustrations by Bernie Wrightson. That one's from Dark Horse. Thought I'd let you guys know. :)
