Comments: I thought the Jane Punisher was pretty good but I haven't seen the new one. INGLORIOUS BASTERDS (I still don't get the spelling) was a hoot, even if Pitt is a real-life kook. I love his crazy accent on his line: "Sowund guud?" I find myself saying that a lot.

Comments: Thanks for the heads up, Randy. Be looking forward to watching those two. Already seen The Punisher: War Zone. Not too bad. Unlike the movie with Thomas Jane though. A bit over the top, and very dark in places. Didn't take itself too seriously though. Already recorded "Inglorious Bastards." Yet to watch that one. Been too busy playing HALO video games. Want scary? Try dealing with alien zombie spores that are also known as "The Flood." You have spidery things try to jump in your face as you frantically shoot 'em up with a shotgun. Kinda frustrating shooting and then try speed loading one pellet at time. What "Master Chief" really needs is a Saiga, a semi-automatic shotgun. Guess the creators of Halo didn't think it be fun. Considering it might be "cheating?" Yeah right. I also got a "Call of Cthulhu" video game. Haven't played it yet.

Comments: I finally got to see LEGION and THE BOOK OF ELI, both pretty good end-of-the-world flicks. LEGION was a crazy romp with much humor, while ELI took itself more seriously.

Comments: From the Better Late Than Never Department: I saw JENNIFER'S BODY yesterday and (surprise, surprise) loved it. I don't much care for Megan Fox but she was good as the demon babe. I was impressed with how witty the dialog was and then in the closing credits I saw that Diablo Cody wrote the damned thing. She is good. If you haven't seen this one, punch it into your player and enjoy one of the best horror flicks of the new century. If you have, wach it again.

Comments: I just got the mammoth book VARNEY THE VAMPIRE the first vampire novel (in the Penny Dreadful serial form)in the English language, predating Stoker's by about 50 years. It's 800 plus pages. A beauty. A Gothic classic not many of the living have ever read.
