It's also a low budget Australian monster movie about a killer crocodile. Both movies cleverly cut in footage of the real thing in action, which makes things a lot more realistic and scary. Another recent shark movie that really surprised me was Shark Night. It's not really scary, but it's really entertaining with some good plot twists and interesting characters.
