The folks therein have a neat little competition going on at the moment. The genre must be Horror, Sci-Fi, or poetry, and there's a 600-word maximum, so you should be able to knock up a story up in just a couple of minutes or so (at least, according to Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise). My entry is called PLENTY LONG ENOUGH and you’ll need to sign-up (it’s free) to read it, or indeed enter the competition. A GIFT TO DIE FOR is just the beginning, hopefully. At the moment I have a couple of short stories going the circuits. Most importantly, though, I’m in the fairly early stages of writing another horror novel. Obviously I don’t want to delve too much into the storyline just yet, suffice to say that the main character, an American, is faced with a battle for survival, having been drawn surreptitiously into a reclusive and deeply-enigmatic community in northern England. With the plot sorted, it’s now time to begin looking for a publisher.
