I am about to start Soho Black. I even have a copy of the comic book you wrote Menz Insana. Anyway, enough professing my love for your work, the real reason I am writing is to ask about the cinema trailer you did for Roofworld, I have been searching the internet and can find nothing. I have been waiting with baited breath for one of your books to be developed into a film but there seems to a multitude of obstacles getting in the way, none of which you are responsible for. Is there any more news about Vaughan Arnell directing Roofworld? Do you know if it is really going ahead. I am having real difficulty tracking down any concrete information on this. Before I go I just wanted to tell you that although I live in Edinburgh I have recently taken a job working in a call centre which operates the Central London Black Cab service. At the same time as I started this job in early December, I began reading Roofworld between calls, not only have it helped me in spelling the names of many London areas, it has also given me the opportunity to imagine some of the runs Rose and Robert might have found themselves undertaking. It has given me a real insight into a city I geographically knew nothing about, and for that, I thank you. On another note, Telos have just announced that a new Christopher Fowler novella is to be released in June 2004 It's going to be available in paperback, and a very nice looking signed hardback more details below (including a link to the site, where you can order it) G Breathe An original and horrific slice of urban terror from one of the masters of the genre. All is not well at SymaxCorp. The work is piled high, people are toiling overnight to meet deadlines, and the supervisors are keeping their beady eyes on everyone. But staff are complaining of feeling sick, and the last health and safety officer disappeared one evening never to be seen again. It’s down to new boy Ben, together with temp Miranda, kick-boxing Meera and overweight June to try and get to the bottom of the problem. As colleagues are progressively transformed into mindless, blood crazed zombies, Ben and his friends discover that there really is something in the air... http://www.cuttingsarchive.org.uk/telos/horror/breathe/main.htm 10 Tue November 25 2003 - 09:53:31 Fullname: Mary Email: Comments: Christopher, At last a chance to thank you for your books. They have given me hours of pleasure. Thanx for posting it. I was in London last year and unfortunately was doing a million things - and also was too gutless to chase CF up. I can't even get stalking right!! Looking forward to new novels. It's been too long. Quite amused by the thought of Jude Law and Sadie doing Psychoville. Maybe he can use "our" Nic now. She is so plastic! I met Chris last April, and he graciously consented to an interview. Needless to say we also keep in touch! There will also be a picture of Chris and me. 15 Fri May 30 2003 - 19:58:22 Fullname: Christopher Fowler Email: Comments: Fans...sorry I've been away so long.
