Comments: I love Cary Grant. My first DVDs of his just arrived yesterday. I am such a fan, and I love my brand new box set! He has such class and screen presence. I am waiting on baited breath for someone like him to show up in movies of today. I am pretty sure it is a lost cause though. Thank goodness for the classics being remastered and brought to DVD. I don't know what I would do without them and TCM! Cary Grant is my favorit actor! et je m'amuse à essayer de retrouver tous les films dont sont tirées les images. Pas toujours facile puisqu'en France il y a des films qui n'ont jamais été édités en DVD et que je n'ai jamais vus. Je regrette seulement de ne pas arriver à regarder certains clip- piano man- par exemple. Est- ce parceque mon ordinateur n'est pas un PC? j'ai un mac apple. Comments: Ever since my friend introduced me to Cary Grant at her birthday, I've been something of a fan of his. I had never found him entertaining or taken an interest in the man until I watched "Bringing up, Baby". I've always loved situational humor and this one was just clean, fun, hilarious, and as you can tell I simply enjoyed it. In fact, I borrowed that and "Arsenic and Old Lace" from my friend before I went back to my own house. "Arsenic and Old Lace" is my absolute favorite now out of the many movies I own. I really discovered my like for classic or black and white films. I've always found black and white interesting but it really flared when I watched "Arsenic and Old Lace." It was darkly amusing and the lines are unforgettable. My friend and I quote the movie whenever we're around each other or there are stair steps to CHARGE up. Such memorable characters. I must've watched it at least 4 or five times that week. And then there was "The Philadelphia Story". It was great to see Jimmy Stuart,Cary Grant, and Katherine Hepburn in the same movie. It may not have been my favorite because it was too romantic for my tastes but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I wanted to tape it when it came on just for that one scene where Hepburn and Stuart are drunk on the champagne because they say the most fascinating things when they're intoxicated by the champagne. And the scene where Hepburn gets pushed by Grant to the ground at the beginning cause she's so dang light. Anyways. That's all I wanted to say. I am glad I found this site,even if I should be doing other things with my time. It tells you how addictive this site is.
