Comments: Hi, I googled "Covan Dash" & found your site -
You said "I opted for a whole new dash arrangement from Covan's... They offer very nice looking new dash inserts with spots for.... & plenty of room for what I needed."
- I have one now & would like to know what kind of cutting you did to do to your dash to make it all fit? It some serious cutting and I can't make myself do it.

Comments: came across your website by accident. Nice job on the car - it looks great. I am the proud owner of a 66 Chevelle SS396 and I am also in the process of doing a frame off resto on a 62 Impala2 dr HT. Your site really caught my eye because your Chevelle is the same color I have been thinking about for my Impala and I was thinking of going with the fawn interior. Really like how yours has turned out. WHile I am at it, have to say you've done a nice job on the website as well.

Will attach or send pics later if desired. Right in the middle of a 66 Nova drag car that I need to finish before I get busy on the 67. I had already purchased a 2007 LS2 (new) motor and 6 speed tranny. Chevelle is gonna love it.
Later,

Comments: Sweet ride!!! My brother had a '66 2 dr. HT when I was a little boy in the early eighties, and I have wanted one of my own ever since. His was the first car I ever got to steer riding on his lap when I was about 4. I just recently found out I'm gonna be the father of a beautiful little girl, and also was fortunate enough to find a '66 4 dr. in mint condition for an unbelievable price. So, with a convincing story, (and an understanding wife), I now have the family cruiser of my dreams and a great car to hand down to my little one someday!!!

Comments: Car looks great. 66 is the best looking chevelle, and is true American Muscle! I am in the process of restoring one myself, and am taking a similar route with a resto-mod approach. I am putting an LT1 vette motor, and a 12 bolt posi coilover rearend. an updated cluster simmilar to yours, and a hust wratchet shift kit. the car will very much be a sleeper with only being marked as a malibu. the car was also very unique when we bought it as it originally had 4 power windows and was an a/c car. it was a malibu with floor shit and buckets though... pretty crazy. only rust was in the trunk and supporting brackets. feel free to e mail me, as i have some questions for you, and would love to share more info about projects.
again, great looking car. you did an excellent job.
